Jupiter
Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system, and is the fifth planet from the sun. It's diameter is only 10 times smaller than the suns, and it makes up 70 percent of the matter in the solar system.
Atmosphere: Jupiter contains lightweight elements that result in a low density of 1326 kg/m*3. The majority of the gas in the atmosphere is made up of hydrogen and helium. The gases in the atmosphere remain in a gas or liquid form. Liquid metallic hydrogen (a form of hydrogen that has properties of a liquid and metal that can only occur under extremely high pressure), is located under the liquid hydrogen layer. The magnetic field of Jupiter occurs in the liquid metallic layer, because it has electric currents. Jupiter moves so rapidly that it's shape is distorted, and it causes different types of clouds to form quickly.
Moons & Rings: Jupiter is made up of four big moons. They are made up of a mixture of ice, and rock. The names of the four moons are Lo, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. Lo, and Europa have the lowest ice content, because they've been squeezed and heated by the gravitational force on Jupiter more. Not only does Jupiter have moons, but it also has a ring. The ring of Jupiter is 6400 km wide.

- The first type of cloud to form in Jupiter's atmosphere is a Belt, which is a low, warm, dark-colored cloud that sinks.
- The second type of cloud to form in Jupiter's atmosphere is a Zone, which is a high, cool, light-colored cloud that rises.
